“Flowmaid” is the third large-scale painting (160 x 120 cm) within my mermaid-inspired series – works that embody the quiet yet unshakable strength of people who rise and radiate, even beneath the surface.
The process begins with a digitally composed foundation, where colors and atmosphere are carefully orchestrated. This composition is printed on premium gallery-grade canvas – but it is only the beginning.
Layer upon layer, I paint over it with oils: broad movements to create depth, followed by delicate details that capture light and shadow. With each stroke, the canvas transforms – luminous, textured, alive. She becomes less an image and more a presence.
