A small girl soars into the open sky, a red umbrella in one hand and her beloved teddy bear held close, with the biggest smile on her face.
 
There is pure joy in this moment, freedom, wonder, and that wonderful childhood belief that anything might be possible. She is tiny against the vastness around her, yet somehow she seems to fill the whole scene with her happiness. Perhaps we don't always need to know exactly where we're going. Sometimes, the most beautiful thing is simply to enjoy the feeling of flying.
 
Sometimes, it is enough to be excited about where the wind might take us.
This original is intentionally left untitled. The collector may choose its name,
 something personal, a memory, a feeling, or simply the first words that come to mind.
 
If you prefer, I will name the piece for you before it begins its journey to its new home.

THE PROCESS
Each work begins with an original digital composition created by me on a tablet, which is transferred to artist canvas and then extensively developed by hand with acrylics, pigments, palette knives and textured impasto. Through multiple layers of painting and reworking, the digital foundation and physical painting become one.
